The thing about it is, the only neutral stadium west of Atlanta is located in New Orleans. I suppose if they rotated it between the Superdome and Georgia Dome each year, it would be fine. The West teams have to travel a long distance to go to the Georgia Dome every year, why not make the East teams travel a long distance every other year? Seems fair.

Because New Orleans is a farther drive for all of the West teams than Atlanta as well, with the obvious exception of LSU.

Only LSU and Arkansas are a considerable distance away from Atlanta. The other 10 SEC schools are within a 6-hour drive.

The SECCG should be pulled from Atlanta as soon as you can find the following:
- A suitable stadium.
- A city that is more central than Atlanta (the only city that is more central than Atlanta is Birmingham.)
