Arky 02 hurt. Auburn 04. Those two were pretty bad.

Arky 07 hurt like a mother frickin dagger, but it turned out alright.

being able to look back on it now and knowing that it all worked out makes the arkansas loss in 2007 seem not so bad, but that night and the week after was without a doubt the worst i have ever felt after a loss. i literally laid on the floor in silence for about an hour while trying to control the urge to smash a hole in my tv. thank god for that wvu choke job. i don't know if i would have survived bowl season with ohio state and wvu playing for a national title.

I never understood this line of thinking. The ref blew the call, but LSU STILL had to score a TD. Why is that assumed when they didn't sniff the end zone all day?

The 04 Auburn game could be argued more that the refs cost them. bullshite Ronnie Prude call.

(I began watching football in 1987, so I won't account for any painful losses before then.)

1) 2005 Tennessee. Hurricanes didn't make me forget how to do my job Monday through Friday, and they shouldn't have made LSU forget how to play football.

2) 2002 @Arkansas. Cost us a trip to Atlanta. Arkansas was awarded a touchdown in the 3rd on 4th and goal where the runner clearly was down before he reached the end zone. Without that, Tigers win.

3) 1997 Notre Dame. We were better than them, and they kicked the shite out of us. Turned out to be the beginning of the end for Dinardo, though we wouldn't know for almost another year. This loss put us back in Shreveport.

4) 2006 Auburn. We were better than them, too, and a win in Auburn that day would have given us a shot in Atlanta vs. the Gators. I do, however, thank God that I'm not one of those pussies who blames the refs for that one. It's great to be a man.

5) 1998 Alabama. My first time seeing the Gumps. Had the game won, and blew it. This one, for all intents and purposes, blew our bowl chances.

I am 22-YO, so my football games start in the mid-90s.

1) Arkansas 21 LSU 20 2002
2) UT 30 LSU 27 OT- 2005
3) Both 3 OT losses in 2007
4) The entire '98 season seemed to be fixed. One-point losses at MSU, UGA, and a crazy finish at BAMA.
5) Auburn 10 LSU 9 and Auburn 7 LSU 3

I'm gonna throw out another one.

After getting our asses beat down by Auburn in 1999 the week before, we go to Athens and are down 23-16 on the Dawgs with under a minute left. Josh Booty hits Reggie Robinson for a touchdown on a crazy play and then we miss the 2 point conversion when Josh Booty had Rondell Mealey open in the back of the endzone but didn't see him.

Only a LSU homer would say this. The fact is LSU was the better team that year and they had multiple opportunties to take control of this game, even with all the bad calls. LSU should not have been in that last minute drive position. This was just another LSU "let down" choke game.

Tennessee ranks #1. LSU kicks arse the entire 1st half and doesn't even attempt to try in the 2nd. That was the most pathetic loses I've ever seen. The entire LSU fan base that either sat through that game or watched it on TV should have been apologized to.
