Loston is a pure animal. Watching the All-American game, he looked like a man among boys. He'll certainly be one of those guys you hold your breath on every time a wide receiver comes across the middle of the field.

He will injure a few people while he is here. He will be in the back of every receivers mind. I like this and can't wait to see him knock some heads around.

I am hoping that Loston is our next LaRon Landry. Chad Jones is good but I dont see him on the same level as LaRon but I think that Loston could be on that level. Time will tell though and he will have Cooper working with him. I like the future of our secondary.

Just watched all the videos again, and I must say Loston is the best safety prospect I have seen in years. Ogeltree is good on measurable but did not seem to have the same killer instinct that Loston does. Loston hits you , you are going down. Ogeltree was late on several plays , plays Loston snuffed out. IMO there is no comparison LOston > AO
Yes Chad Jones will be as good as LaRon.

Since the videos you see of Loston are from his senior year, and Ogletree's are from his junior year, why not wait? It's not fair to compare them at this point.

let's say that we sign three Safeties this year and Loston redshirts due to his hand injury.

Due to our WR youth, could Loston be a WR. He would be a great downfield blocker.

Many of Loston's video's are of him during his Jr. year as well.

Either way, Loston is one of the best S prospects to come out in some time in terms of tackling and head hunter instincts. I watch this kid's film over and over and am still astonished at how ruthless he can be. He is also very aware of where he is on the field and his surroundings. He can read the QB and and has the ability to cover sideline to sideline. The kid just has "it". The same as his cousin Shep. They just have that fire in them.

I take Loston but I am sure my opinion is biased. But no doubt Ogeltree is going to be something to watch.

Let's wait and see after a year starting at safety. Laron had less talent in front of him and exponentially better coaching than Jones has had to date. He stepped into the perfect situation.

Jones has a size/speed/athleticism combo that Laron could only dream about.

That's Loston's Jr film as well, so it's a fair comparison and it's not really close.

I'm not sure about that. CJ's potential could be as good than Laron's IMO. I believe that Loston will just be the next generation on great safeties that come through LSU
