Omaha isn't the problem (if it's a problem). One problem is that the Northeast and Midwest can't really get into it because they generally can't field decent teams because of weather issues. If the season started a month later, nation-wide interest in the sport would increase. Having the Big Ten and Big East more involved would increase national exposure. Not saying whether or not they should delay the start of the season; just presenting that hypothetical.
