Being in Omaha actually helps it in my opinion. No national tv exposure during the season and the fact the players don't jump directly from college into the big leagues are both more of an issue. That and the fact that it seems like schools in the larger metro areas (pro sports towns) don't seem to draw much.

but don't you think the small town feel of an "event" in Geauxmaha perpetuates the small appeal of the event?
