This is my theory too. Also they were supposed to have evacuated all the locals and every one on the island except for the wedding lady because she was with them when they realized the kid was missing so why was bartender girl not on a boat going to the main land. I assure you if it had been me I would not be chilling in my house with a serial killer on the loose especially when I was to evacuate. And I most definitely would not be running to an explosion. Made her look super guilty to me. And she walked up with nothing happening when the crazy was out there shooting at them. I don't think so. She would be small enough to fit in the tunnels too.
