but if you take a team of 2-3 stars and a team of 4-5 stars.....80-90% of the time the team with the most stars is going to kick some arse.......not 100% but 80-90%
Or you could just do what most top teams(including LSU) do and get a bunch of 4 stars, a couple 5 stars and some gritty 3 stars with good potential.
I can guarantee a team like that will kick some arse 80-90% of the time as well.

Football scouting is very inexact, especially when it comes to CBs and OL. The scouts just aren't that great, because its not as professionally driven as baseball or basketball.
Baseball has its pro scouts which blow away these recruiting football networks in both vigor and knowledge. And in basketball you have the AAU circuit for exposure as well as professional scouts that keep track of players that they may draft in a year as well as European scouts. Unless pro football ever gets involved in the process this won't change

The one aspect that many are over looking is coaching...Is the kid "coachable", is he willing to put the time and effort to become better...Will the kid improve or has he reached his potential in high school...It seems we are getting good kids with heart and talent...Remember, they are only in high school...Coaching and coachability is the key...Remember the Malleveto project...Coaching sucked and the team suffered...We will be fine...Les can not be a bad recruiter this year...Do not panic, it is early...Geaux Tigers
