The Lakers had no business winning this game... way to go to not hit one of the two free throws granted with 10 seconds left. Dwight Howard hit less than 50% free throws. This is why he will never be a superstar.

That, and the fact that hes terrible down low. He got the ball about three times starting OT in the middle of the paint, and missed layups.

True, but when you have two free throws and all you need to do is make one you have to make it

Magic blew it and doesn't deserve to win a championship

As much as I don't want to admit it, mostly for my deep hatred for the Lakers, but you are 100% correct.

I think Turk missed a few there too. Definite choke job by the Magic.

As far as the shaq Howard comparison. There is none. Shaq was so much more dominant back in the day. If he got the ball in the paint. It was a auto dunk. No falling down lay up attempt.

There is none, although Shaq never hit free throws, he was a much better player and scorer than Howard plus Howard sucks at free throws.

Dwight lost that game for the Magic. Heck, the whole team lost it. You can't make free throws on your home court then you deserve to lose.

Magic should be up 3-1 in this series, not down.

Im just saying when shaq caught the ball in the paint somebody was going to get hurt trying to stop a dunk.

Count me in, I haven't been following what Shaq was saying about Howard, but there shouldn't be any doubt to anyone that Shaq was much more dominant than Dwight is up to this stage of his career, not even close.

Howard reminds me more of Chris Weber than of Shack. Lots of talent but seems to be lacking some intangible inner toughness.

I disagree, I see what your saying, but Kobe is way closer to MJ than Howard to Shaq, IMO, Kobe is an all-time great player. He has not reached the status of MJ and probably never will, but he is much closer than Howard, again IMO.

It isn't as bad as Nelson let Fisher take that wide open 3. Without Howard the magic aren't even in the game. And he isn't the best offensively in the half court set, but the guards do a pretty shitty job of getting him the ball when he is open as well.
