and i thought i was the oldest guy on this board but looks like i have some company.

Thanks, but I'd rather refer to it as "seasoned veteran" than old!
I played HS ball with a pitcher that walked on at LSU. Two other teammates played for other teams. A pitcher for Tulane and a shortstop for ULM. Would always go when we played either of them.

There are still a few of us around, although I go to more funerals than I used to. These days are better in many ways, including LSU baseball.
