yeah yeah.
I've made rice in a pot for 30 years but sometimes you either don't want to watch it, don't have time to watch it or don't have room.
I highly doubt you never have used a Rice Cooker.
fwiw, I have a real rice pot that has been handed down to me as the 4th generation. It is a super old cast aluminum pot with a split hickory handle. Nothing makes better rice but if I have a house full of friends, it is too small to make rice and I don't feel like watching it while it cooks.
