Anyone watch this PBS special a while back? I DVR'd it and just started watching yesterday. Not bad so far. Made the story of the Mayflower seem interesting anyways.

Yea i used to fall asleep to it last semester on tuesday nights i beleive. A nice way to educate yourself I guess.

revisit

Episode 1-3 could be HS US History classes. Thought they were well made/entertaining as much as enlightening/education. 4 okay, 5 was snoozer trying to rope recent history into the same genre.

Reinforced to me the Churchill quote "History is written by the victors."

What was the % of the Cherokee that did the Trail? Couldn't be that high, given alot of folks have Cherokee ancestry in the SE.
