I'm hoping we can just get better each game and I think someone else said the team needs to get more confidence at the plate against LHP.

Here's the same lineup against RHP:
LeMahieu 44-136 .324
Schimpf 49-132 .371
Dean 37-123 .301
Gibbs 32-111 .288
Mahtook 30-91 .330
Ochinko 39-119 .328
Hanover 46-124 .371
Mitchell 41-111 .369
Nola 12-53 .226
Totals. 330-1000 .330

You're right, the averages aren't that terrible against LHP. The problem seems to be the fact that since its so sub-par, we have trouble putting a few hits together. This adds up to very few runs. We need to improve on the clutch hitting against the lefties. When the righties came in, it was all but over. Amazing the difference it made, grouped hits = runs.

Geaux Tigers!!!!!

Why are most of our righties much worse against lefties than right handers? Don't they have "the advantage?"
