This is what separates teams and gets them to Omaha.
I reference my playing days at ULL often but another good example is that the 3 years I was there we could hit the cover off and play defense. We won the SBC and went to a regional in 05 and 07 with outstanding bullpens. In 2006 we had the best starting rotation (statistically speaking) in the country and failed to get to a regional. The reason was that our bullpen was terrible with only 1 reliable guy.
Bullpens separate good teams from great teams.
Always Always Always.
I'd rather make opponents play a 6 or 7 inning game then a 9 inning game.
