I love LSU first because they produce winners ... I don't hate Tom Benson and I'll never be sold as a Saints fan ... so long as you have a wealthy owner who does not (just because your ver rich, doesn't make that person a bright person when it comes to sports) ... The man "Benson" and his grand-daughter will never bring a consistent winner with S.B. potential to the state of LA or N.O. for that fact ... they are in it, to line their own pockets first, not bring in a great G.M. who can draft consitently and make trades that will bring the Saints to the top ... thus I will root for them as a LA citizen and not win Championships.
Thus - LSU is a big first but the Saints can keep some money in the state but they are a distant SECOND ...
NO B.R. has notthing to do with the subject her, JMHO...

I don't HATE Benson, but he's totally incompetent as an owner. It all starts at the top. That's why the organization has such miserable long term success ON THE FIELD. Benson is not cheap. He spends the money, but is just just clueless about who he needs to have in place to run the organization. Just totally clueless. The Saints need a really good VP of Football Operations/General Manger and they don't because Benson doesn't have a clue who to hire. (Look how FAST Bill Parcels has turned the Dolphins around) Mickey Loomis just isn't going to cut it and I have serious doubts if Sean "Haslett" Peyton is the answer either. The Saints haven't had anybody competent in the front office since Jim Finks, but as long as Benson is making a nice profit, I seriously doubt you'll see him sell the team to somebody local who has the football smarts to do what really needs to be done to make the Saints CONSISTANT winners......

I don't hate the man and he has done better than the one who came before him, but he/Saints leave a lot to be desired. imo
