So now USL wants to be called "louisiana" ? I don't think I have ever heard someone refer to them as just Louisiana. This is a school with an identity crisis.

I don't really care what they want to call themselves but if iI get a vote i'd go with U-La-La (kind of like in the simon and garfunkle song wake up little suzy).

I always chuckle when I see the university of louisiana @ lafayette signs with the lafayette in very small print.
