Miles said he would most likely play another poisiton.not qb.

link? or are you, like I'm guessing, pulling this out of your arse?
Not exactly what he said but he eluded to more than just QB in the link right off of TD.com blogs.
LSU Tigers defense dominates football scrimmage
quote:
At quarterback, Miles said the Tigers, "could be further along." But by allowing, "the young guys," -- Shepard and Garrett -- extensive snaps, the team has cut the time available to returning sophomore signal-caller Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee -- "the old guys," in Miles' words.
"But both Jefferson and Lee look like they've been in the system, and they look like they're ready to play, " he noted. "Both of the young guys are still a ways away, though both of the young guys made plays today, some nice throws and some nice runs."
All of which may accelerate, Miles hinted, Shepard moving toward a role many expect him to assume -- that of the electrifying playmaker. Shepard's future at LSU, particularly if wide receiver/sprinter Trindon Holliday pursues a pro career in track, may lie in the receiving corps, and as a player who takes snaps in a shotgun formation and creates space.

I took the comments from the original poster that he wasn't going to be playing QB at all. Shep hasn't practiced anywhere BUT QB.

the damn Texas fans all took this article and said Les is moving Shep too.
Some people on these boards will go with something just to try to be the first to say it. Just like reporters hoping something they say might stick.
LINK
Shep may line up at other positions but he will play qb some like RP did in 07.

So I interpret this to mean he is the next Mike Vick and Crowton will use him everywhere... Again thats just my interpretation of the sitution, having never been there of course...
