Thats pretty sad that coaches have to buy tickets for people to go to the game. After all they are in the NCAA tournament. Before someone comes back at me.I am at every home game....

Look I'll admit, I've been to 1 game this year- Tenn. Me and my buds were going to head to Alex Box tonight, but after the email we decided to go to the girls game tonight, baseball tomorrow.

I think it is unfortunate that tickets have to be given away, too, but I appreciate the effort. Fact of the matter is...students are used to getting in for free all year, and many fans at large are used to getting discounted seats for certain games ($1 for Pack the PMAC, for example). They are not used to having to pay $19 a pop for a women's basketball ticket (and don't rip me either...I have been to tons of the games).

LSU is very aggressively trying to get people to buy tickets and come to the game. If LSU is to be awarded a host site for these games in the future (which is obviously a HUGE advantage), people simply MUST show up.

Unfortunately the start time sucks (8:45 on a weeknight) and the game is on TV. I do hope people will take advantage of the tickets, esp. the students.
