I hate...I mean HATE the NBA because of things like this. College basketball is basicaly swept under the rug due to the NBA's "Come on out and get rich" philosophy. This team with Randolph would be on par with Memphis and the like. We'd have been one of the stongest LSU teams in school history.

Lottery pick = $$$$$$$. No one here can legitimately say the temptation wouldn't be too great for you. I'd skip out for the cash too.
I highly doubt Butch Pierre specifically undermined Johnson to get Randolph out. LSU thrived and succeeding in spite of the lack of his presence.
As for PT's comment, I hate the NBA, but for reasons far beyond this. I hated players going straight from high school, but I hate the token one year even more.
