What's up with the baseball team

i try to follow them as much as i could, but i haven't seem them in person yet. why do they seem to be struggling once the competition level stepped up a notch? will Paul Mainieri be another Pokey Chatman? too much talent and not able to coach them up to their ability

i think we've just been facing good pitchers lately. granted a lot of our starters are slumping but the starting pitchers have been great. probably going to get blasted, but i also think we were playing above our talent level in the 2nd half last year. and the bullpen needs to find a solid middle reliever.

They have been in a bit of a hitting slump. Pitching has been better than expected.

Well they just won 10-3 and they are ranked in the Top 10 in every single poll out there.

What are you bitching about?

starting 4-2 in the league against 2 of the top 3 teams in the east is struggling?

ummm...maybe because the talent level is more evenly matched. Just because we dont win 21-2, doesnt mean we are struggling. We just took 2 of 3 from a VERY GOOD south carolina team......on the road.
