It's going to be tough for Saban to pull linebackers for a bit. We're stacked at that position: Rolondo McClain, Dont'a Hightower, Jerrel Harris, Cory Reamer, Eryk Anders, Courtney Upshaw, Glen Harbin, Chavis Williams, Brandon Fanney.... then the new guys, Petey Smith, Nico Johnson, Jonathan Atchison and Tana Patrick.
Not much PT to go around for a while. A lot of those guys are really good.

This is what I'm banking on for Maclin.

I know that's what will be thrown about a lot this recruiting cycle, but Alabama will absolutely be able to offer playing time for the prospects that sign for 2010. Alabama will lose four senior LBs (Fanney, Reamer, Hall, and Anders), and Rolando McClain may very well be a first round pick if he comes out. That's possible five LBs leaving the program. Even with all the studs signed, there will still be PT available.
