I'd love to be on the radio for 2 or 3 hours. I know that isn't in the cards right now. Maybe it will be one day. I dont know. I know that there needs to be a changing of hte guard in the market. I think the audience is getting younger. There are more 18-34 year old men listening than in the past.

There is a big market for the college aged guys. I'm amazed by how many LSU students listen to our program. We do get older listeners as well. I think we have a good balance

I don't see where BR radio is as bad as so many say. Everyone has their own little niche. buddy is a bit of a cheerleader but thats ok, thats his style. What I can't stand is Jimmy Ott and constant negativity. He basically disagrees with anything anyone says unless it serves his purpose. I think overall balance wise you and Matt's show is the best for providing info. Ya"ll win this by the bigtime guest ya"ll bring on. As far as Condon's show I love it. He should have Erin on more often, that stuff was hilarious. She has a good rapport with him, I think she could do radio if she want. Josh ppl bash you too much about your lack of knowledge, don't worry about it. They forget your only what 23 yrs old? Who could expect you to know everything.

NIce post!! BUT its not his lack of knowledge because he is 23. Its the fact that he thinks he knows more than people who have been around longer and know more. If they call and disagree, he hangs up on them!!! I have seen this done ALOT of times. TOTAL DISRESPECT for the people who really know.

I'm actually 22. I certainly don't want people to feel sorry for me b/c I'm 22. I made a choice to go on the radio at a young age so I will take my lumps. I certainly don't know everything. I know a lot but I don't think radio is about showing how much you know. Some people try to do that but I don't think it makes for a good product. It shows that you know a lot about history...but who cares? Lets talk about the here and now. Radio shouldn't be a pissing contest. It shouldn't matter if you can name the starting line up from the 1964 Philadelphia Phillies or if you were at a major sporting even that happend 30 years ago and you can repeat everything you saw. That doesn't matter. What matters is being current. Sometimes I get bothered by comments from people saying "Josh doesn't know anything about sports". It's just something you have to shake off. There are many people who don't agree with what you say therefore they fall back on the "he doesn't know anything about sports" angle

If you think he is bad you should listen to Deke Belavia on WWL 870 am in New Orleans. He always talks down to callers and yells at some of them.

I thought I under dressed for press conferences until I saw Deke. One day he was wearing some baggy bball shorts, a tee and crocs with socks to a presser. I didn't feel so bad after that

I am not a fan of his at all, he is total freaking slob. he is very unprofessional with how he deals with callers if they don't agree with him. He was much better before Buddy D passed away and he became the top host at WWL.

I have NEVER said you know NOTHING about sports. I have said that you think you know more about certain TOPICS as you call it than some people that know more about than you. I'm not a big fan of Deke. I think WWL overall is not nearly as good as it could be. I think Bobby is a great analyst. He's actually the perfect fit in New Orleans. He's from the area, he's loved by most and he's actually very sharp when it comes to breaking down all sports. My biggest issue with WWL is that it is simpleton radio. No one on the station ever makes waves. There has to be some conflict to make things interesting
