Total bullshite. Your usual inept, entirely unprovable line. Jefferson was placed in the same situation as Lee. He replaced Lee after it became painfully clear that a change was needed. And Jefferson performed better. And he would have led LSU to a better season record if he had been the starter all along.
you need to learn what total BS is.
B/c you just typed it.
JJ WAS NOT placed in same siutation as JLEE
Proof.... 3-8 ark team in a FUKING MEANINGLESS last game of season and mighty Gtech in peach bowl... yeah thats the same as AU, MSU, Fla, USC, bama, UGa. good call
He replaced Lee when JL went down with injury vs OM.
Performed better? geees.
Did you watch the second half of either of the games he started?
Your last sentence sums this overly STUPID/FALSE post up.
we avged 25pts per game with JL under center... wonder what we gave up defensively????
Ive said on here before and ill say it again... LSU Def in 2008 was FAR more responsible for the 5 losses than JL ever was... and to think JJ would have been the diff maker for the season is just not so.... But if it makes you feel better to blame last season on a redshirt freshman qb then have it.

He replaced Lee and led the team to a respectable end to an otherwise disappointing season --even after Lee was healthy to play. To lay the blame on the defense for this overall marginal year is just plain blind.
I stand by Jefferson as the right choice for Miles to make at the time and the right QB to get the chance to start next year.
