i think basketball is the most difficult because it involves more luck than any of the other sports to win the title. in football, the best team usually wins the title. in basketball, you have to win 6 games in a row, all against great teams, to win. baseball gives you the opportunity to lose games in tournament play and still take home the title, so it's definitely the most forgiving.

But basketball also more easily allows for the underdog, possibly less talented team to get hot at the right time and make a run and win the championship. It's so open. But I guess from an LSU POV that makes it harder.
