i was talking to some west virginnia fans in columbus while drinking before the us mexico soccer game last wednesday, and they said they were playing us. it was news to me, but cool if so

I hope it is true would luv to travel 2011 to WV from Pittsburgh and go to the game lotta people up here respect LSU I hear is all the time

W. VA @ LSU is set for 9/25/2010, with LSU playing @ W. VA in Sep. of 2011.

WVU would be a GREAT OOC game for 2010 and 2011 setting up a NC Run with a quality opponent OOC like 2007. That VT game separated us enough in 2007.

I don't think it's "set" yet just agreed upon in principle. It isn't up on the official schedule yet.

I always get a kick out of how LSU and the press talk of this non-existent series we have with Oklahoma.

They lost their coach last year and their 4-year starter this year. I'm not sure how good they will be once we get to them, but it's better than playing ULL.
If it's away in 2011, then there will only be 6 home games that year, two of which are NIU and Houston. I bet a lot of people will not be happy with that home schedule.

Having lived in Ohio a couple years, I have some friends who are 'eer fans. Great football fans and a great program too: can't wait to watch our boys play them in 2010 and 2011.

LSU has been looking to make an out-of-conference game against a BCS opponent a staple of its schedule. To that end, Ausberry has already negotiated deals with Washington, a Pac-10 school LSU will visit next season, and a home-and-home series with Oklahoma, a national power in the Big XII.

If the rest of the Big East fans think WVU fans are trashy and awful, what would they say about us?
