the guy did say that the high competition in the SEC makes the job and the ability to compete each year as the reason for bumping them down

If you coach at Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, or LSU, there is no possible place you can go that is a better job, unless you go coach an Alma mater. For us to be just 2nd tier on that list is ridiculous
