LSU's defense was not the same the year after Hunt left. He might not have had the most over the top physical talent, but Hunt was very smart. He made the defensive calls and that in turn is one of the reasons LSU's d was so stout

Didn't he play free safety in 03 and Laron played strong? After he left, Laron made the switch to free.
