would you try to escape the mean streets of Welsh, LA in order to raise him in South Central, Los Angeles?

After his college days are over, and he signs his NFL contract...I say Newport Beach, CA.

I've been out the last couple of days, so would someone care to explain. I am assuming that this has something to do with Janzen and his dad.

I just noticed how similar "Welsh" and "Welch" are.

He put himself in a no-win situation, and found a way to make it worse.

He should never have attempted to explain something inexcusable.

Even with all the talk about a package deal, he had to be given enough credit to know that a signing day switch was in no one's best interests, much less a day after switch.

I don't even give him enough credit to realize that the issue is NOT that he switched, but how they handled it. Oh, I'm sure he's realizing it now, but when you do this for a living, you would think the repercussions would be evident.

I'm not sure how Carencro survived his tenure, but then again, maybe they didn't. His defensive coordination at McNeese led to four games where opponents scored 50+ in one season. I hate to sound like I'm piling on after the fact, and maybe I am, but foresight is obviously not one of his strong points.

Any future staff hires for him will always have to deal with the opposing staffs' ability to use the handling of his own son's recruitment against him. Now, they even have it in print, word for word. Dumbass really doesn't do him justice.

Welsh, LA

I'm guessing there are a ton of places a lot worse then Welsh, LA. to raise your boy. For a legit answer, I will say S. Florida is probably the best place in the country to grow up strictly sports wise (if you can keep your kids out of trouble). I'm sure Texas has a lot of places that are pretty close, but my guess is Football dominates the hell out of everything over there, while down here is a little more rounded. This Guidry guy acting like Welsh LA. is so bad is ridiculous, he just wanted a job to be handed to him.
