Huge mistake...but I hope it works out for him. Texas Southern is bush league football played on a high school field compared to LSU. He will be playing with second level talent so either he didn't think he could cut it in div1 or he his looking to make a splash in a smaller pond. Hopefully his talent will allow him to overcome this decision.

Can't blame the guy for just wanting to play. He only has 2 years left and doesn't wan to waste them sitting on the bench. Besides the bands are a lot more entertaining in the SWAC.

FYI, TSU doesn't play on a high school field. They only have a practice field. They play their football games at U of H stadium (Robertson Stadium) or Reliant Stadium.
