Question for the recruiting gurus. Did the coaching staff misjudge and made mistakes by either passing on , not accepting commitments or delaying acceptance on the following?:

1. Chris Willams ****LB Nebraska 5A TX Defensive MVP (Seeking bigger fish? Bird in the hand?)
2. Rantaveous Wooten ****WR Georgia (Snookered by Debose?)
3. Montrell Conner ****RB/LB MSU? (Big back similar to Dexter Pratt, but a LA boy)
4. Darrington Sentimore ****DT Alabama (Chasing the McFarland dream. Another LA boy passed on)
5. Christine Michael *****RB aTm (Dexter Pratt/Trent Richardson)

Also didn't DE Sam Montgomery try to commit to LSU very early on and his commitment was not accepted?

I realize this is an excellent class as is. However, if they could do it over would they work harder to keep Wooten in the fold? Offer Conner as a big back? Accept Williams' commitment? Accept Michael's commitment? Add these guys along with Reuben Randall and we would be talking about the greatest class ever.

No

I think you are wrong. I am almost certain Mongomery tried to commit to LSU at the beginning of the school year.

As relates to Conner, having him is better than not having Pratt.

Michael's has something going on that the staff doesnt like and I trust them( I liked his video FWIW). Wooten was not a must have I dont think(5'10 158 and listed as a 4.5 guy.) I would hope at that height and weight he would be a little faster. Trust in the hat my brother.
