I'm as stoked as anyone that the Williams kool-aid has us going to the next Super Bowl. Here's the early line from Vegas-
+800
New England Patriots
+1,000
Dallas Cowboys
Indianapolis Colts
New York Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers
+1,200
Baltimore Ravens
Carolina Panthers
Philadelphia Eagles
San Diego Chargers
Tennessee Titans
+2,500
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
New Orleans Saints
that's 25-1, not bad being the #10 after a 8-8 year.
While on it I think of the Saints as a Ravens antitype. They have had a great D for a few years but no QB and questionable offensive schemes. New HC and good OC Cam Cameron with a solid rookie QB and voila, full fledged- not one dimensional contenders. Here's hoping the same in an opposite way with Williams and a hot #14 pick hot defensive guy.

If the Arizona Cardinals can make the Super Bowl, anybody can do it, right? Detroit fans hope so. Of course, so do Saints fans. And even though we haven't played the Super Bowl in 2009, it did not take oddmakers long to set the odds on who will win the 2010 edition.
Even though no one knows yet whether Tom Brady or Matt Cassel will guide the Patriots offense, New England is the Las Vegas oddmakers' choice at 6-1 to win it all next year, according to Las Vegas Sports Consultants, which advises casinos on betting lines.
Eli Manning and the New York Giants are the top NFC choice at 8-1 followed by Dallas at 9-1. Eli's older brother Peyton and his Indianapolis Colts are also 8-1.
The AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers are the second choice overall at 7-1. Arizona, the NFC champs, are 11th choice at 15-1.
Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints come in right behind NFC South rivals Carolina (12-1) and the Falcons (16-1) at 18-1. Rebuilding Tampa Bay is 35-1.
