SEC and Nation are the same for me: Alabama.
I hate them. Have always hated them. Will always hate them. Never cheer for them regardless of who they play. Saban for me was only a fresh new reason to hate them.

I actually rooted against an SEC team in the bowls for the first time this year since realizing I should adopt a pro-SEC stance 10+ years ago.
I looked at the SEC scorecard to that point, figured Florida would take care of business, and decided it was all good to root against the Tide.
