What is the story on Deangelo Benton? Is he enrolling this spring? Is he eligible?

not enrolling in spring for sure, they SAY he will be here in june, hope they're right

Rumor is....Meyer had something to do with preventing him from enrolling early

I'm friends with someone close to the situation. He said he is definitely NOT coming. They gave him 3 options: retake the ACT, take correspondence courses to get credit, or take examinations for course credits.
He didn't attempt the last two and his ACT score was still too low. LSU is not a hard school to get into. I'm not sure we want someone less intelligent than Perrilloux on our team.
Hopefully we can all just forget about this guy and look forward to TT and RR lining up X and Y.
