Went to D'Han. Dinardo didn't do a great job recruiting him. Another problem was Rondell Mealy wasn't happy at LSU at the time and didn't have great things to say about LSU. This turned off people very influential in Ed's life and they didn't want him going to LSU. Lastly, Curtis Johnson was from St. Rose, so it didn't help us compared to Miami.

in addition to reed and wayne, johnson also recruited marshall faulk to san diego state of all places. damn you curley
