Who thinks Dumbass Sean P will draft another offensive player, instead of drafting defensive players? I know he drafted Ellis last year. But he's an offensive guy, and I truely believe he will draft a WR, OL, or RB instead of taking a corner, or LB.

I actually wouldn't be upset at all if they drafted an OT with the first pick

I don't see Loomis and Payton blowing our 1st rd pick FWIW IMO BTW STFU GTFO

an OT is the only offensive player that might be drafted. if so, I wouldn't be upset. Any offensive player other than that drafted in the first round I will be freckin pissed.

A giant O-Lineman to guarantee 3 rd and one would be huge for the saints. The biggest need is Safety which there will only be one or two first round worthy safeties in the draft. Line backer would also be a big area of need. We can pick up a bruiser RB late in the draft or in free agency.

2008 Saint's draft picks:
Sedrick Ellis DT
Tracy Porter CB
DeMario Pressley DT
Carl Nicks OT
Taylor Mehlhaff K
Adrian Arrington WR
2007 Saint's draft picks:
Robert Meachem WR
Usama Young CB
Andy Alleman OL
Antonio Pittman RB
Jermon Bushrod OL
David Jones CB
Marvin Mitchell LB
2006 Saint's draft picks:
Reggie Bush RB
Roman Harper S
Jahri Evans OL
Rob Ninkovich DE
Mike Hass WR
Josh Lay CB
Zach Strief OL
Marques Colston WR
9 defensive picks, 11 offensive picks (5 Offensive Linemen) and 1 kicker out of 21 total picks. Seems pretty even to me.

I'd be okay with picking a left tackle, especially with some of the talented tackles in the draft this year. I don't think Corner is our biggest concern (Porter and MM are solid when healthy and Gay is a good nickleback) btw, I'd say FS, OLB and LT are our biggest needs then maybe RB.

Maybe you are the dumbass for not realizing one of our biggest needs is safety help.
Man we have some dumbasses on this board that make the most asinine statements.

I'll make a wager with you that he doesn't draft a WR or RB in the 1st round.

If he doesn't draft a defensive player, he will get eating alive. By us, and by the media.

why would we draft a corner?

I would guess it depends on who's available when their spot comes up. If there's a "can't miss" defensive guy, then it should be a no-brainer. Are there any "can't miss defensive guys in this year's draft around the Saints' pick???

why a wr? with brees you can take average players and turn them into above average players - lance moore
why a ol? nicks was a late rounder, most free agents do well - now if you want a LT that may be another issue
why a rb? solid there, free agents seem to fit this offense well - pierre thomas anyone
