I know this Buckeye. The past three chop blocks in recent memory to LSU came when LSU's big D Line was handling the Offensive line of the opposition, Auburn, Alabama, and GT.

You rarely see a chop block, oops, "unintentional chop block" when the O-Line is doing their job and pushing the D-Line around.

The fake punt was not a revenge call- but rather good coaching-You coach to win not coach to not lose. GT came back on GA after being down and LM wanted to insure they did not have the ball in their hands long enough to make a come back

Smart coaching!

but wasn't this penalty called on Tech's first drive? Hardly enough time for the O-line to get upset about being handled.

You rarely see a chop block at all.

You actually make a good point, that it could be due to LSU's dominance. The GT lineman tried to get a cut, the LSU guy was slanting, and the other GT guy, noticing some penetration, tried to block. That doesn't mean it's intentional.
