A cut block is aimed at the front of the defensive man, a chop is to the side/back of the player. He saw what he was doing. Call it what it is. At least payback was legal, and only hurt their pride, which needed some adjustment.

That's a clip. A chop block is when one lineman hits him low, the other high. Both of those are illegal. Then, there's the cut block, which is just one guy going low, and nobody else hits him (legal). The one GT guy did a cut block, the other one hit him high in the process, resulting in a chop block.
