Went to see it last night and seriously considered walking out. It was long, depressing, and just horrible. I waited around until the end to see if it had some amazing ending, but it didn't. I get the whole idea of the movie, but damn, I thought it was pathetic. Am I alone on this?

If a couple is going to blow $30 at the movies, probably want to pick a different movie...it made you think, and it was different, but not worth the expense.

It wasn't great, or the be all/ end all of movies, but it wasn't crap either. Not sure if it was worth full price at a theater; catch the matinee show

You need to find a new theater.

I'm planning on going to see this with my gf next week. Bad idea? Anything better going to be out?

Decent acting, but the plot won't move you. It's mildly intriguing at first because you're looking for the "why" even after the "what" is revealed through an early clue, but there's little mystery as the film progresses.

It borrows bits and pieces from other movies. Plus people are starting to get a little tired of seeing roles that involves Will Smith up on the cross, so to speak. Plus I'm getting a little tired of him making that same exact grimace every time he's hurting inside.

There's lots of good movies that just came out!!
I didn't really like Seven Pounds either. It was a sad and depressing movie. Will Smith was ok in it, not the best Will Smith movie though.

I liked it. But Will Smith is also my favorite actor so maybe that's why. The meaning of the movie is pretty good, very different than what you usually see these days. I just thought it was too long and drawn out. I recommend it though. But does anyone know why the movie is called seven pounds?
