Why not? If we are just basing the argument off of jobs solely in Mandeville vs Lafayette, then yes Lafayette is the winner here.

I agree with this but it’s still 3 hours away.

What does Lafayette offer for entertainment? I remember the downtown college bars but I admit it’s been a while since ive been there

Top Golf, Dave & Busters, Festival International, Mardi Gras, Cajun dome concerts. Lafayette gets some big acts that skip BR and Nola.

Then there’s reds. That’s a world of its own. Downtown has college bars but also has plenty for the older aged people.
