What's funny is that I do want more of the same. It's just more of the same as the Ezio trilogy or Origins.
More of the same of Valhalla is a big nah for me. Mirage still exists but I don't know a single person that's played it.

I've played about 15 hours of it. It scratches that AC itch but I'm not really into it. The combat is in between old school AC and the new ones, but it somehow feels worse than all of it.
I'm still trying to get my head about the inspection system they do for the missions/story. But that's where I'll defend against the "more of the same" narrative with these games and the Far Cry series. They do have their staples, view points, bandit camps, vast open world, but if you really dig into each one they really evolve the systems in a way that, at least to me, they feel like their own games. Some of them don't work as well as others, I think the quest system in general for Valhalla is too confusing and hard to keep up with, but IMO they don't ever mail it in.
