That's a big loss for them. They will prob drop next week's midweek game also at USM. Potentially a big collapse the last 2 weeks when you factor in vs aTm this weekend, USM and finish at LSU.

Not sure why ole miss matters for us. Itd be better if they had won for the rpi points it would help lsu with. I feel like we have to beat them 2 out of 3 regardless. And if we do, we jump them

This absolutely sucks for LSU. Their RPI was 25 which would be a Q1 series for LSU and a real chance to improve our RPI. If they drop, which they will, it won’t be a Q1 series and can’t help nearly as much.
Update: they dropped to 28. If it holds it will no longer be a Q1 series. We desperately need Q1 wins.

Hunt Palmer just broke it down. And yes, you want ole miss to lose because they are on the bubble looking in just like LSU.
