We literally have the little old lady/man car. My wife inherited her father's 2009 Toyota RAV 4 in 2017. No exaggeration, It had 15,000 miles on it along with the original tires. The tires were dry rotting so I replaced them. Here we are in 2024 and yes, we are both retired. That RAV 4 now has 35,000 miles on it.
I have a 2015 Honda CRV with 99,000 miles. Both are perfect vehicles. In my opinion, get either a Toyota or Honda.
