My god, you can't even criticize a jury and court officials in a criminal trial anymore? It's outrageous.
Why or when on earth can a criminal defendant not criticize a court or a jury outside of actual court proceedings? If that is the rule for court defendants generally, it's blatantly unconstitutional. But I doubt that it is the rule.
Any criminal defendant should be able to say whatever they want about the court, trial, and jury, unless court is actually in session.
