How did I get it? Didn’t inherit it, Dad died broke and I paid for his funeral. I and my wife both worked our whole lives.

My wife and I planned and saved for our kids education. We didn’t go to Europe, Vegas or expensive vacations. If we were fortunate we’d spend a week at the beach occasionally.

Didn’t drink up half my paycheck either. Underrated way to save money btw.
