Yep.

Younger generations make bad choices, older generations point them out. Know why we know?

Saw friends, family make them and learned from some of our own mistakes and experiences.

You just haven’t figured that out yet.

I don’t think anyone is saying that. What’s been pretty consistent throughout this thread is that people want less government overreach, not more. Fed Government forming the department of education resulted in the proliferation spending on administrators and non teaching roles.
Fed Gov backing college student loans have resulted in massive bloat at universities, significant rise in the administrative staffs, and trillions of dollars in student loan debt. Fed Gov getting involved in housing has resulted in section 8 housing and guaranteed income to landlords despite how shitty the housing is.

Basically, by appointing individuals that have no personal skin in the game, government makes everything more expensive and honestly, less effective.
