quote:
He argues that the gods or spirits that have returned to America and Western civilization are the same gods that seduced ancient Israel. He points out the following demonic spirits are the three most prominent gods that transformed ancient Israel and led to their fall from God
Ok let’s see what he has to say.
quote:
1. The Possessor – Baal represented the nation's turning away from God
This is wrong. Baal was originally Yahweh. Yahweh was Baal. The priests in Jerusalem and Ezra and the scribes copied all the poems about how Baal killed Leviathan and Baal rides the clouds and hurls lightning bolts and makes it rain and helps the barley harvest and how Baal was the son of El Elyon. In the book of Samuel, David’s army breaks through the enemy lines with the help of Yahweh, and he names the place Baal Perazim (Baal breaks through).
quote:
2. The Enchantress – Also known as Mrs. Baal, this spirit is referenced in the book of Judges. The two gods Baal and Ashtoreth or Ishtar are linked together.
The Bible makes many mentions of the Queen of Heaven, also called Wisdom, transliterated Asherah. Poems and graffiti and statues were found all throughout Judah and Israel praising “Yahweh and his Asherah” even to about 100BCE. This divine feminine became known as the Holy Spirit - both represented by the dove.
quote:
3. The Destroyer – The most mysterious member of the dark trinity is known as Molech. His name makes several appearances in scripture. For example, when King Solomon fell away from God, he built high places, altars, and sanctuaries for the foreign gods. One of them was Molech. He was the god associated with sacrifice of human beings, especially children by their parents.
No, no, no. There was no god named Molech. The ammonite god was named Milcom. Molech, a related word but different, was not a proper noun, but was a type of infant sacrifice and would be offered up to a god like Milcom, Dagan, Chemosh, or the big guy Yahweh. This is confirmed by ancient writing and carvings mentioning offering their Molech sacrifices to Baal (Yahweh).
So this guy actually acknowledges that the Bible recognizes many gods. But he shits the bed with the rest of his assertions and beliefs.

It seems that nobody wants to play with you. I can’t say I blame them- you’re a one way street headed in the wrong direction.
