In a thread discussing a student engaging in racist behavior, you decide to reference "fire hoses and dogs". You chose to defend this student's actions by bringing up one of the most despicable actions taken against African Americans peacefully protesting in American history. Fire hoses and dogs were unleashed on civil rights protestors. And you chose to say this. Bold strategy.

It's entirely intentional dog whistling. The mods are pretty good at deleting egregiously explicit racism so they have to hide being comments like that.
