There is a base instinct for a woman to find a man who will provide and protect. Whatever that means to her in her own, personal, life story will dictate that ideal man's attributes.

Faith, family situation, status, financial situation (or at least potential), social connections, etc. all play into what makes someone attractive as far as marriage material.

You can't exactly describe it sometimes, your instincts just kick in and you "know" you're a match.
