Baker runs an aggressive defensive scheme whilst House runs a preventative scheme. It shouldn't be hard to improve just on scheming alone.
This, Baker is what LSU is known for aggressive defense. The NFL Draft that just ended, Barkers defense had a DL taken in the first round, a LB and three DB’s. LSU is known as DBU, the last time we had 3 in the same draft class, 2013. LSU has been known for speed on the defense, making reads, getting through traffic and getting to the ball carrier.
Adding a little more. Those players weren’t highly rated out of high school. The DL was ranked #125, the three DB’s, one was a converted WR. The LB was a transfer. Baker took these players in two years, making them NFL Draft prospects. When Baker got to Missouri, one player was a Red Shirt Freshman, three were So and one was a Jr. Call it whatever you want, but Baker seems to get the most out of his players.
