Remember when he orchestrated the trade of a future sixth rd pick to get Tommy Stevens in the 7th to prevent Carolina from drafting or signing him as an UDFA? I remember him saying something like while he thought Stevens had some upside, he also did it to frick with Carolina. Stevens was on the PS for two months, got cut, and signed with Carolina the next day anyway.
I know it was a low risk/cost move and Stevens never amounted to anything in the NFL, but it’s the kind of stupid crap he would pull at times.

Yeah man.. That was one those "That's a stupid dick move"..
I remember he traded up to get Antonio Pittman and cut him after camp... An UDFA beat him out... That UDFA was Pierre Thomas...
