I don’t know about all of that “duty” and “obligation” talk. I think he saw that this was his best chance to be QB1 at a school the caliber of LSU, so he chose to wait it out. I have a similar philosophy in life that has served me very well. Make good, informed decisions and then be patient and wait for them to pay off.

In the fall, he will get his chance to be QB1 and I hope he lights it up!

Preach, brother. I'm sure Nuss loves LSU, and is thrilled to be the starting QB in BR, and I think he will have a great (potential Heisman) year in 2024.

But it's laughable how many people think he would still be here if 2-3 years ago he had the EXACT SAME amount of eligibility left as Jayden Daniels.

He WOULD NOT BE. And that's ok. Because high level QBs want and need playing time. It's gonna be the same reason half (or more) of these 173638276 blue chip QBs we've signed in the last few years will transfer out. It's how the world works.
